Two routes

Apps distributed overseas (India, Indonesia, Russia, Spain) are transferred by emailing Xiaomi's overseas developer support with both accounts, identity proof, package names and a signed file.
Licences must match the entity
- Software copyright, app filing and industry licences must belong to the account's entity.
- After a rebind the entity is unchanged; switching to your company means an entity change review and updating the developer name in the app.
- Company accounts cannot become individual accounts.
Signing keys are essential
Xiaomi requires the same signature for every update, and it cannot be changed or recovered after release — a lost key means deleting the app and uploading again. Signing files must be part of any Xiaomi handover.

- The company is active and in good standing.
- Live apps, downloads and ratings.
- Who holds the software copyright and app filing.
- Complete signing files.
- Violations and removals.
